Receipt Notice issued by the Immigration Service
After the completion of the lottery, the Immigration Department will send the Receipt Notice to the applicant in writing, usually to the law firm of the agency or the company applying for it. If you are in a hurry, you will receive a notice soon if you are in the middle of the process. If you are not expedited, you need to wait patiently.
The Receipt Notice will contain information about the H-1B application, such as: Case Number (Receipt Number or Case Number), Case Accepted Date, H-1B Applicant Information (Petitioner, usually Employer), H-1B Beneficiary information (usually employee), case where the immigration office processing center contact information. With the Case Number, you can log in to the Immigration website to check the trial process.

Check if the check is cashed
After the H-1B is drawn, the immigration office will accept the case and officially redeem the applicant's h1b application fee (cheque). If you want to know if you are winning, you can contact your lawyer or check with the company's finance department to see if the cheque issued by the H-1B application has been redeemed. If it is redeemed, congratulations, sign it!
3. Query the student SEVIS system
If the H-1B is drawn, the student identity in the SEVIS system will change from the previous Active to Change of Status Pending, and the Receipt Number of the H-1B application can be seen. You can check with the International Student Office (ISSO or DSO) or call the SEVIS system at 703-603-3400. You will need to provide your SEVIS number, name, date of birth, school, etc.
Of course, if your OPT or OPT Extension is still valid, congratulations, you have another way to query. If drawn, the date of the Employment on the SEVP Portal is automatically postponed to September 30 (in general, the end date on your EMPLOYMENT defaults to the OPT cut-off date).
